Brazilian guitarist from São Paulo, started his studies in 1982 at the age of ten with the classical guitar.
At the age of 13, Marcelo began to play the electric guitar, and joined some bands and music festivals.
Since this time, has grown his interest by American Black Music, specially Blues and Jazz, two styles that influenced his studies and musical concept.
In 89, Marcelo firmed himself as a professional musician, playing in traditional bars and clubs on São Paulo like Blue Night, Sanja, Café Piu-Piu, Wiskey Jazz, Jazz And Blues, Por Quoi Pass and Teatro Mambembe. He is also a guitar teacher, without interrupting his own lessons and courses with more experienced musicians and musical theory teachers.
Member of the band called Burning Bush and playing along with the singer Mona Gadelha, played on the main musical projects on São Paulo, like "Madalena Jazz And Blues", "Música no Parque da Aclimação" (Music on the Aclimação Park), "MPB nas Bibliotecas" (Brazillian Popular Music on the Libraries), "Projeto Adoniram Barbosa", and on cities like Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Salvador, Recife, João Pessoa, Santos, Campinas, Ribeirão Preto, Paraty, and others.
Between his main jobs, the most important are: participating on the "Spirit Blues" Band, pioneer of the Blues style on Sao Paulo and the recording of the albums for the bands Tijolo Preto and Paulo Meyer & Burning Bush.
Integrated as a guest the album "Cenas e Dramas" by the singer Mona Gadelha. Also accompanied the singers João Ricardo (Secos e Molhados) and J.J.Jackson.
